Job Purpose:
The Marketing Lead will drive Jibu Kenya's marketing strategy, digital engagement, and brand growth. The role oversees digital campaigns, sponsorships, customer communication, brand standards, and strategic marketing initiatives to increase awareness, engagement, and conversions.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Digital Marketing:
- Develop and execute digital campaigns across social media, email, and web to drive engagement and conversions.
- Manage monthly content calendars and ensure consistent posting frequency.
- Monitor metrics including reach, impressions, engagement rate, CTR, leads, ecommerce conversions, and ROI from paid campaigns.
- Ensure timely and professional responses to customer inquiries on digital platforms.
Sponsorships & Partnerships:
- Plan, onboard, and manage sponsorships, partnerships, and brand activations.
- Execute events to maximize brand exposure and generate qualified leads.
- Track event participation, lead capture, and conversion to customers.
Customer Satisfaction & Communication:
- Ensure excellent franchisee and customer experience through high-quality support and communication.
- Develop and implement QA checklists for Freshdesk inquiries.
- Track quality audit pass rates and growth in Freshdesk users among franchisees and consumers.
Brand Standards Enforcement:
- Ensure compliance with Jibu brand, signage, and merchandising standards across all franchises and retail sites.
- Coordinate NPS and secret shopper surveys; track and implement improvement actions.
- Enforce corrective measures for non-compliance or customer experience violations.
Strategic Marketing Campaigns:
- Align marketing campaigns with company strategy and OpCo annual plans.
- Lead campaign planning, execution, and on-time delivery.
- Develop and maintain a brand and messaging strategy with clear objectives and timelines.
Supervision Received:
This position works highly autonomously and reports directly to the Country Manager.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration.
- 4–6 years of experience in digital marketing, brand management, or similar roles.
- Proven track record in managing social media campaigns, content creation, and partnerships.
- Proficient in Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and creative tools such as Canva or Adobe Suite.
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
